Exciting News Fresh Off The Press!!
- Wellington's Village Park and Recreation Volleyball Season is off to a Great Start. Tom Barlow, Jr. has not only been named best all-around 3 years in a row at his school he now is coaching is first 12 & under team. The team is now tied for 1st place in their division. Good Job Coach Tommy.
- Tracy Barlow has been selected as Varsity Libero at Santa Luces High School. Great Job Tracy.
- Will Libero's serve this year in USA Volleyball Club Season..We are awaiting the news!!
- AAU allows Libero's to serve!
- USA Volleyball new rules is allowing not 1 but 2 Libero's this year. This means there will be a secondary Libero that can fill in for the first. They can not play on the court at the same time but can go in for each other or different players.
- 3 boys under age 14 or allowed to play on girls teams.
- For example a 13 year old boy can play on a 14yr old girls team.
- Another example 3 boys 10 years old can play on a 12 and under team. This allows young boys who love the game to get involved!
- Boy's Indoor Travel Volleyball is starting to take notice!!
- The Boys Travel Teams are invited in 2 Indoors Tournaments this year in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale which in the past were only for girls travel teams.
